The Mercedes-Benz NXT ecosystem
A global, diverse organization like Mercedes-Benz will naturally bring forth many different ideas when it comes to digital objects. With these digital objects, we aim to explore a larger narrative but also not let that narrative limit us creatively. However, we know collectors value predictability – a way to anticipate future developments.
Core collections
Interrelated & coherent
Core collections are planned, developed, and managed by the creative studio 0xNXT and launched directly under the Mercedes-Benz brand. These digital objects are part of a coherent story: interrelated projects that continue to build on each other.
Find out more about our core collections in this Twitter thread.
Our first core collection is called "Maschine" (Info / OpenSea / Rarible), our second core collection is Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities (Info / OpenSea / Rarible) and the third one is Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons (Info / OpenSea / Rarible). Soon, a fourth core collection will be launched: Symbiosis (Info).
Driven by the journey
Core collections make up a coherent and ongoing story. When your digital object belongs to a core collection, it belongs to something built to last.
Run by collectors, for collectors
Mercedes-Benz NXT is run by a team made up of long-standing members of the Web3 and collector communities.
Full transparency, always
Clear and open communication is a core principle of our strategy. That means transparency on scarcity, no stealth drops, and predictability for collectors.
Satellite projects
One-time & stand-alone
Satellite projects are standalone activities with a smaller scope and often contrived in partnership with others. These one-time, unique ideas can express creativity more flexibly without having to worry about the consistency of the core collections. Satellite projects focus on fun and experimentation unhindered by long-term plans.
Mercedes-Benz NXT's first satellite project is called Mercedes-Benz NXT Superdackel (Info / OpenSea / Rarible).
"Composition of colorful particles on black" was an exploratory satellite project on Base, leveraging various data sources. Additionally, it could be minted "in-frame" on Farcaster (Info / Highlight).
Peripheral projects
Third-party & independent
Peripheral projects are third-party projects that make use of Mercedes-Benz trademarks, whether officially licensed or through fair use. These digital objects are created and distributed independently from Mercedes-Benz, but may sometimes be supported through communication.
