This is the first time they will be available as digital objects and we have closely coordinated the selection with the Mercedes-Benz Museum and with experts from all areas and Mercedes-Benz brands.

2000 – 2017
As a company founded by engineers, one core belief at Mercedes-Benz has always been that technology and innovation are fundamental for meaningful change. Between 2000 and 2017, as the world became more globalized and increasingly interconnected, Mercedes-Benz invested significantly in research and development.
Resulting in the development of innovations and use of new technologies within the cars, this had a lasting impact on the automotive industry, amongst others in the fields of assistance systems, powertrains and connectivity solutions. After all, Mercedes-Benz has been at the forefront of transforming automobiles from their initial mode of transportation to “computers on wheels”.
